I frequent these dollar scoop joints a lot and this one here is by far the highest quality I've seen. They have real lo mein noodles, name brand soda, their food is tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly. Can get packed during peak hours but take out is easily 5 minutes. I always get the combo + side of shrimp for under $12.

Stopped by this morning on a cross-country move, because I am a Californian and as a result 1) hardcore craving veggies after 36hrs of truck stop and drive-thru food 2) extremely broke. Remembering Chinese food is EXTREMELY under-valued within the United States (sorry, we expect to pay HOW LITTLE for a huge portion of high-quality, freshly-prepared carbs, meat AND veggies??), I checked for the nearest take-out spot on my route and found this restaurant. A 2-item combo with a soda, 2 egg rolls, and 4 crab rangoons came out to $10.95. I felt like I was stealing, getting this much delicious, healthy and veggie-heavy food at that price. And a soda!! They have a stunning variety of canned/bottled drinks available, by the way. The fried rice in my combo is divine, the lo mein is very good (I prefer the thick egg noodles in what my region calls "chow mein" to lo mein, and asked for a smaller portion of the noodles because I knew they're not my preference coming in), my beef and broccoli is tasty (big, fresh and crunchy chunks of vegetables!!) and although it's nearly impossible for kung pao chicken to disappoint me theirs is just as tasty as restaurant I'd be a repeat customer at. The wontons were great too, my sister finished the egg rolls herself but she didn't have any complaints. The staff was super efficient, especially given how busy the shop was, and also incredibly professional, friendly and nice to customers!! I mention that last point because the man in line in front of me was yelling at the two petite young women behind the counter, berating and accusing them of not giving him enough scoops of what he'd ordered (the sign outside *literally* announces by-the-scoop portions and pricing. He could have simply ordered a second scoop. I heard the entire interaction; he was yelling.) before storming out without paying. That's AWFUL. It was awful to see someone loudly and publicly mistreat service workers, and then waste a full box of food they'd already packaged up for him. Chinese takeout does not have high profit margins!! And despite this, they smiled kindly and politely while trying to accommodate whatever foolishness he was demanding. And then they turned around and apologized to *me* for his actions, while I tried to apologize to *them* over the matter. If yr looking for a fantastic, comforting meal (or, honestly, the portions for 2-3 meals) and spot this place, please do stop in and appreciate the food and service! And please, leave a tip! They absolutely deserve it.

Coworker suggested it after driving by plenty of times because it looked like a 1 star place to me that could cause some inadvertent sick leave. But checked it out and I was totally wrong. If you are in that weird spot where I-25, I -270, and US 36 meet, don't look for a Panda Buffet..., there might be a little gem just off northbound Broadway , west of I-25, north of US36. I Got Egg Fu Yung , plus rice, and sides for way cheaper And frankly it was above average. Recommend, and hopefully the hits keep coming!

Super cheap and quick. Straight forward ordering style like Panda Express except doesn't get you sick. 5 stars because it's that for what you pay for.

Super cheap average Chinese food. You could do a lot worse for the money. If you're in a bind and you need to eat, here you go.

The people working here are always so nice, and welcoming. I hadn't been in for a few months (cooking at home more because of Covid), and the lady at the front of house still recognized me and remembered my order! Portions are good and the food is definitely a comfort meal. Not gourmet, of course, but for the price, I love it! P.S. Try the combo, it's a great deal, and you get a drink too.
